Saw the advertisement of Mubadala World Tennis Championship while walking at the Corniche. Immediately went to search online and realised that there were still tickets available and the tickets were unbelievably cheap. Think it was like SGD40 per tic.
Was so excited to see my 1st ever tennis match!
The boys fooling ard
I also cannot lose out!
Rushed to eat some lunch because we heard Nadal was having signing session!
It was my 1st time eating out of the famous paper box for chinese food.
Eric sun-tanning while eating. Don’t look too happy right ?
After gobbling down all the food, we quickly proceeded to queue up to get our signature. and i got my extremely big tennis ball to get the signatures. BUT !! the q was extremely long and we gave up cos we knew we can’t possibly get Nadal’s signature.

So we went into the stadium earlier and started taking pics with the stadium and wonderful blue sky. We were shocked by the view that we could get from the cheapest ticket. It was totally worth it and no need for a binoculars unless u want to see the player’s expressions.
Tada ! the stadium! love the blue~*
and the match started! beginning with Ferrer Vs Tsonga and then Djokovic Vs Monfils
The crowd
The people in charge of giving the balls to the player ( donno wat’s their role called )
Ferrer Vs Tsonga ( Ferrer won)
Doing the coin toss to determine who serves first
Djokovic Vs Monfils (Djokovic won)
As there were 2 matches and the 1st match started at 3pm, by the time the 2nd match was starting the sun was going down and also the temperature. and it was pretty windy as our seats were at the top.
and we were underdressed and hence freezing our ass and shivering each time the wind blow.
The half frozen boys. They so wanted to leave to have their steamboat but I sort of insisted on watching the entire match. They were literally screaming “steamboat” when Djokovic won. :p
It was definitely an interesting and wonderful experience. =)
